Fire Horse 2026 Chinese Astrology Almanac

Why would you want an English Language Chinese almanac?

If you can’t read Chinese, but you work with Chinese metaphysics or medicine, the Fire Horse 2026 Almanac will help you bridge the gap and apply your knowledge in real time. It’s an English Language Chinese Almanac. I’m offering both a print and digital version this year.

Each year I compile the Almanac from various sources. The structure is based primarily on the lunisolar Hsia calendar, and the Tung Shing or Annual Chinese Almanac. I started publishing the Almanac because I use it! I had been making it by hand for myself for years. It’s the backbone of my practice and now I’m sharing it with you.

The Almanac is a reference tool, calendar, and learning journal. If you’re not familiar with Chinese Astrology, all of the information you need to navigate the Almanac is included before the calendar portion:

Shi Shen : Ten Spirits or Ten Gods

The component of Ba Zi called Shi Shen, 10 Spirits, Ten Gods or Shifting Palace identifies important people in a person’s life and their relationship to the person. Secrets will be revealed! Shi Shen tell you what advice might be helpful given the person’s situation. Genealogists will find this method is a helpful ally to your work.

In this class we will get very specific, however, we will also talk about the general meanings of the Five Elements based on the Day Stem of a Ba Zi: Self, Output, Wealth/Success, Power, Resource. This concept will be familiar if you’ve taken my Wu Xing for Ba Zi classes. Now we go more in depth with knowledge and interpretation.

Reading a Ba Zi accurately requires you to know this system backwards and forwards, so to speak. Fluency with the Shi Shen can’t be faked in a reading.
