Sometimes known as the Ten Thousand Year Calendar or 萬年曆 Wan Nian Li, the Hsia calendar book is a fundamental tool for any kind of Date Selection. It’s cheaper and more fun than using a calculator. To a western brain, the format of the Hsia calendar moves “backwards”. In my experience, this will change how you think – in a good way. Go analog and form some new pathways in your neural network!
If you’re familiar with the Ten Heavenly Stems and the Twelve Earthly Branches, it will only take an hour to get comfortable navigating and using the lunisolar Hsia calendar. You won’t have to write the 22 characters, but you will want to recognize and identify them in order to read the calendar.
Everything we will cover is in A Student’s Key to the Hsia Calendar, which is included in the price of the class. I will send it to you when you sign up.
If you don’t have a copy of the actual Hsia Calendar book, you can get one in my shop.
