If you want to learn how to identify the elements in your own Ba Zi, study Ba Zi independently, or you’re not ready for one on one classes yet, Wu Xing for Ba Zi will lay the foundation that you’ll need.
Wu Xing for Ba Zi is an introduction to understanding and applying the dynamic system of Wu Xing. With this knowledge, you will be able to begin to analyze and interpret a Ba Zi. We will approach this topic as a study of movements or processes. Wu Xing is dynamic, not static.
Every relationship or event in a Ba Zi is determined from the perspective of elements and their relationships, specifically, the element of the Day Stem as it relates to all the other elements in the chart. You will learn how to identify the timing of elements, as well as how to begin to interpret their interactions.
In this class you will learn:
Creation Cycle, Weakening Cycle, Controlling Cycle
8 Trigrams
Characteristics and associations of each element
Timing of elements
Heavenly Stems and Earthly Branches for each element
Locations of elements on the compass
