The magic of Divination with Yi Jing is that it always seems to offer both practical and metaphysical answers to the questions we might have. It addresses the past, present and possible futures. If you have just one question, this might be the right service for you.
One of the special things about this divination is that it is a co creation between us. The Yi Jing will share simple answers that you might apply in a myriad of ways.
You provide the question, you cast the coins, and we’ll meet for an hour over Zoom to talk about the resulting Hexagram. You are welcome to record your session.

The Yi Jing (I Ching), aka Book of Changes, is a fundamental source of the principles that are used in Ba Zi and Feng Shui. This workshop will deal with the most basic of its concepts – all you really need to begin lifetime study.
Begin your studies with the Yi Jing by learning how to formulate a question and cast the coins to create, then interpret, a Hexagram. This class is meant for beginners or those with no experience who want to engage with the Yi Jing or Book of Changes as a method of divination.
We’ll start with some basic concepts about trigrams and elements, and then we will cast the coins, record the Hexagram, and begin to interpret. We will not look up the results until we’ve done some basic interpretation. You may be surprised to see how with a few simple methods you can begin to apply this ancient wisdom to your life.
In this class you will learn:
- How to formulate a question
- How to cast the coins and identify the Hexagram (2 Trigrams) you’ve cast
- Beginning interpretation
What you will need:
- 3 coins of the same denomination
- A copy of the Yi Jing* or access to online resources for looking up your Hexagram
Take away instructions and other class materials will be provided. We will have time for questions.
