The Key includes instructional materials for writing the 10 Heavenly Stems and 12 Earthly Branches, four calendar pages for practice, the 5 Rats Chasing Hour Table, the 5 Tigers Chasing Month Table, and tables for identifying all of the Chinese characters you’ll need to convert a Gregorian date into the 8 Characters that make up a Ba Zi. If Ba Zi is not your thing, you can learn to read the Chinese calendar for your own purposes.
