Date Selection, also known as 擇日學 (Ze Ri Xue) is done in order to take advantage of timing; to extend the luck of a day or moment in time. For example, Feng Shui practitioners use it when placing water, but this technique is quite useful for every day life. Who wouldn’t want to know when to do what? Make your efforts count. You want to know when you’re going against your luck, and know when it’s time to ride it. Usually, bad luck means it’s time for you to prepare for the good luck.

Building Blocks of Date Selection
In session one of this two part class, we will learn the basic concepts of Date Selection. I often think of Date selection as what goes on inside of a big clock. We’re trying to see how wheels with different numbers of cogs might match up and what that might be like when they do. These calculations are what will inform your divination.
