Earth Dog 戊戌 Month
October 8th 14:29-November 7th 17:52

Here are the Animal Fortunes for the month of the Earth Dog. To get the most out of the fortunes you’ll want to know all four of your pillars which are based on your birth year, month, day and time.

If you don’t know your Four Pillars, just ask!

Each of the four animals of your BaZi correlates with an aspect of your life. Start with that interpretation.

If you’d like to know more about how bazi works, take a class with me. If you want to know more about your own bazi, book a reading here. Most of the people I work with get a reading at least once a year.

Pillars and Fortunes

Year Pillar

Has to do with your physical body and what you do with it, ancestors, family traits. In terms of luck the year pillar is said to take the first “hit” of any event, good or bad.

Month Pillar

Relates to career, work environment, training, age mates and peers, siblings, exes and your modus operandi

Day Pillar

Yourself and true partner; your immediate environment and home life.

Hour Pillar

Your innermost self, your children, future, hopes and dreams.

The Fortunes

戌 Dog

Birth Years: 1946, 1958, 1970, 1982, 1994, 2006, 2018, 2030
Birth Month: October roughly.
The Fire Sheep year of 2027 shows up early. If you’re already feeling the effects of the Bullying Punishment, or participating in it, see if you can end it/solve it now. Make peace in relationships.
Hint: You still have an advantage now – but so does the Sheep. Think it through. Communicate.

亥 Pig

Birth Years: 1947, 1959, 1971, 1983, 1995, 2007, 2019, 2031
Birth Month: November roughly.
This month you are the remover of obstacles and a potential peacemaker. Cool things down. Clean things up. Keep it moving. Ask for space if/when you need it.
Hint: Show AND tell so that others can see and share your standards.

子 Rat

Birth Years: 1948, 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996, 2008, 2020, 2032
Birth Month: December roughly.
Don’t you love it when your challenges bring prizes? Direct your attention to your wins, however small if you want more. This loneliness won’t last.
Hint: Focus on what is going right.

丑 Ox

Birth Years: 1949, 1961, 1973, 1985, 1997, 2009, 2021, 2033
Birth Month: January roughly.
Like the Dog, the earliest stirrings of the Sheep year may alert you to a potential problem you could nip in the bud. Unlike the Dog, you have an edge when it comes to negotiations this month. Use your words.
Hint: There are others like you who need to know you are not an enemy. Are you?

寅 Tiger

Birth Years: 1950, 1962, 1974, 1986, 1998, 2010, 2022, 2034
Birth Month: February roughly.
One last chance this year to burst into flames and disappear in a puff of smoke. It sounds more glamorous than it is. Be careful of burnout that may come from too much “fun”.
Hint: Is it time to travel again?

卯 Rabbit

Birth Years: 1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999, 2011, 2023, 2035
Birth Month: March roughly.
Make yourself known, literally. You’ve got one last assist from the year with your PR and advertising, courtesy of the Dog. What’s the one thing you want people to know about you and what you do?
Hint: Spread the word at every opportunity.

辰 Dragon

Birth Years: 1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000, 2012, 2024
Birth Month: April roughly.
Clash means change. It might be messy. That’s what this month is about. If there are losses, that means space is opened for new beginnings.
Hint: Observe boundaries. Know and acknowledge when you are going against “what we always did”.

巳 Snake

Birth Years: 1941, 1953, 1965, 1977, 1989, 2001, 2013, 2025

Let your natural curiosity motivate your investigation of whatever is worrying you. Getting more information is usually helpful for you. Do it for health’s sake.
Hint: It’s either that or stop worrying. haha

午 Horse

Birth Years: 1942, 1954, 1966, 1978, 1990, 2002, 2014, 2026
Birth Month: June roughly.
You’ve finally come to the part of the year where you are most likely to experience your own success. You have success often but you don’t always experience it. No need to strive. There’s no shortage.
Hint: Do your work. Play for fun to win.

未 Sheep

Birth Years: 1943, 1955, 1967, 1979, 1991, 2003, 2015, 2027

Hint: Change will come anyway.

Birth Years: 1944, 1956, 1968, 1980, 1992, 2004, 2016, 2028
Birth Month: August roughly.
Lots of unusual and big ideas come to you this month. There will be too many to keep track of if you don’t keep a record. Don’t leave out the wild ones.
Hint: You’ll make something of them in the next two months.

酉 Rooster

Birth Years: 1945, 1957, 1969, 1981, 1993, 2005, 2017, 2029

If you feel the earthiness of the month and the people you are encountering are diminishing your brilliance, guess what? It could be best to take some time off.
Hint: Do that thing where you disappear briefly and come back transformed.
