Bazi of Benjamin Netanyahu

It Ain’t Over ’til It’s Over

It’s April 1st 2026 and the people want to know…is Benjamin Netanyahu alive? Was he injured in a recent missile attack? To give you a quick answer, I don’t think he’s dead; injured maybe but not dead. He has some special protections from the Moon this year.

I checked his bazi for answers, then for confirmation I asked the Yi Jing. I won’t go into detail about what hexagram I cast here and how it changed, that’s the kind of thing I share in my Monthly Guide only. We’ll be discussing this topic in the Monthly Meetup on Saturday.

That said, in the spirit of the Water Dragon month I’m pushing the boat out and sharing what I wrote about Netanyahu more widely. I’m taking a big risk to share my interpretations with you. If I turn out to be wrong, hopefully it makes for a good story! A little embarrassment never killed anyone.

Down the Rabbit Hole

Benjamin Netanyahu may still be alive and an unknown third party (not Trump) is helping him stay that way. I think he had a very close call or was injured on the night of March 1st and one person who was with him was killed. He had miraculous good luck and is now hiding. He doesn’t mind the sacrifices that need to be made for his goals, however it will be the sacrifice of other lives – not his. He may not even be in Israel right now.

Some people think Netanyahu was killed in a missile strike on March 11th, but not me. I think that day l’il Donnie found out Bibi was still alive and was told to keep his mouth shut or deal with the consequences (exposure?).

The rumors of Netanyahu’s death may have already been part of a strategy to protect him in a situation like this. It wouldn’t make sense for Netanyahu to fly around in the Wing of Zion now would it? Presumably that’s why it’s still parked in Germany, or so the story goes. He’s a target. There’s a lot of chaos around him.

We may be seeing AI videos of Netanyahu but that doesn’t mean he’s dead. Most likely he cancelled events and “played dead” in order to not show up where he is expected. Remember, his year is Ox and he is in a Tiger fate.* He got pinned down in the Tiger month. Now the Dragon month is near and further destruction seems imminent.

An Expert on Terrorism

The Fire Tiger in his Life House and Big Fate point us back to the very important year of 1986 when Netanyahu was the UN Ambassador representing Israel. That was the year he published Terrorism: How the West Can Win. In his book, he describes terrorism as “systematic and deliberate” targeting of civilians for the purpose of achieving political goals. He is an expert on terrorism, preventing and perpetrating. His Fire Tiger Big Fate began in 2023, the year he began his mission to level Gaza. He started on October 7 2023. I believe it was planned. Fire is what he does.

I mention this because it seems Benjamin came to this time and place to learn about Fire and the Fire penalty. One of the main themes of the Fire Penalty is being cast out, or cast adrift. He has a fear of that and so he does it to others: get them before they get you. I’m not saying he is correct, just how I imagine he feels.

Netanyahu wrote a book about the Fire Penalty as terrorism, but the Fire Penalty often appears in the context of cults or what people call high control groups. He has been the leader of this type of group for a very long time.

We are about to enter the month of the Water Dragon on April 5th…he’s definitely under pressure from his so called friends. The problem with the Water Dragon (for him) is that it extinguishes his Fire. There are going to be limits on what he can do.

Benjamin Netanyahu was born under a partial solar eclipse. Maybe the regular “rules” of fate aren’t as strong for him?

A Pattern of Penalties

In the Wood Snake year, in the Monkey month of August 2025, it looks like Benjamin had to make a big decision. This was a peak Fire Penalty month for him. What he did was the same as proposing a game of chicken with the rest of the world. Uh oh – for him I mean. This was when he made his “final proposal for victory” which meant nothing would really end. I don’t think most people understood what he meant. I think they are starting to understand now.

Benjamin Netanyahu participates in the Fire Penalty in very literal ways. He is part of a triangle. Since 2023 there’s always an unseen third party involved in the deal he is seen making with someone else. He is always looking for a higher bidder.

Current timing means the Fire penalty is active for him, certainly in the 寅 Tiger (February), 巳 Snake (May) and 申 Monkey (August) months. This makes 亥 Pig an important secret player in Netanyahu’s bazi this year. I don’t think the Pig is a solution for him though. I think it represents the sacrifice he is willing to make – the people of Israel.

Output is What You Do

As a yang Wood day master, we could say the Fire penalty is what he does. He made great strides with his goals in the Snake year. Fire may also be hastening his demise.

I don’t know for sure if he is alive or dead, but what I do know is that Benjamin Netanyahu is a player when it comes to the Bullying Punishment. It’s how he makes his money.

Being born in an 丑 Ox year, and in a 戌 Dog month means all he needs is a 未 Sheep to complete the Earth Punishment and it’s coming in the Sheep month (July), and in 2027. It’s interesting to me that the punishment seems linked to his cancer. Of note as well – the Sheep clashes his Ox and is void for him. It will be hard for him to find someone to take him in if/when he does need assistance.

Netanyahu has typically followed Earth (money), he’s a land grabber as you can see. Wood controls Earth. Metal is his power element but he prefers money most. If he keeps using power he will run out of money. Fingers crossed.

Chinese Astrology Monthly Meetup

It looks like the Water Dragon month (most of April) is going to be a dynamic month…and that’s why you would want to join us for the Monthly Meetup on Saturday April 4th. That’s one day before we begin the month of the Water Dragon. This clash of Water and Fire could be very dramatic and… interesting.

When your Chinese Astrologer says “interesting”, they might be using it in the sense I have heard my Chinese teachers say it. What do I mean? If they like you, they wouldn’t wish you an interesting year.

Seemingly without regard to our human intentions and wishes, Fate goes on. Seemingly.

Fire Horse Year : Rats and Royalty

In the world of Feng Shui, I’m not the first to make an association between the Chinese Zodiac sign of Rat and the United Kingdom. Some reasons behind this thinking: The UK is in the north of the northern hemisphere. It consists of rainy islands. There’s lots of water, and so many coastlines. Speaking literally and figuratively, Rats have voyaged throughout the world, coming from this location. Colonizers came from these islands.

For many the UK is one of those places we associate with origins, lineages, dynasties and ghosts: Water element things. The Rat is a creature of Water. It lives in the north where it’s wet, dark and cold. You see how this works?

I hear the rain has increased lately in the UK with the year of the Fire Horse present. The Fire Horse would stimulate the Water energy of the Rat, the Rat might try to fight back with flooding. If you do what I do, you might start to wonder if the hot parts of the year in the UK will be in the autumn.

Royal Rats

Now that we’re past the small talk, I want to be more specific and tell you I associate Rat with the Royal family. The Water element is what creates the next generation, it has the dna and it carries the line of succession. In the Royal family, I think the Rat energy favors women more than men. You may have noticed that women rulers fare better than men rulers in the House of Windsor.

Obviously, if I’m right to view a correlation between the Rat and the House of Windsor, then we can say the Royal Family is clashed by this year of the Fire Horse. In this first month of the Fire Horse year, it’s already started with Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, arrested on his own birthday. I think there is more clash to come.

I’ve been studying Feng Shui and Bazi for 24 years. Observation of relationships is one way that I learn. It’s the main way that I find connections in patterns. I’ve been developing the concepts behind this post for years. Now is the right time to share what I’ve found.

Andrew Mountbatten Windsor

Andrew Mountbatten Windsor has allegedly been doing nasty things for many years. Now perhaps it will be proven. In this Horse year, there is a clash for his physical body. He may live somewhere new. The Prison star present and it’s not looking good for Andrew.

Andrew’s current 10 Year Fate Pillar of Wood Rooster started last year in the year of the Wood Snake (2025). In experiencing the Fire Penalty last year he was cast out of the family by his brother – to a limited extent.

The Rooster is one of his Noblemen, the other one is Pig. The lesson that this decade will bring is about being on the other end of destruction, the power of money and the power of the lack of it.

His wealth might protect him, but his ex Fergie probably will not be able to. Sarah Ferguson was born in an Earth Pig year. It seems no one can find her today – the day Andrew was arrested. Maybe a Wood Tiger has whisked her to safety earlier this month.

I fear both Sarah and Andrew will be needing extra funding and running out of money. His bazi says he needs ancestors to sustain him. He won’t be able to make the public appearances as a rich guy who “executes”. That energy also makes Andrew prone to spilling the beans. Do note: he was arrested due to his allegedly exposing classified information to enemies, not because of what he allegedly did to women and children. I have to say allegedly but in the latter case we know there are photos.

Being a yin Fire guy and having his natal chart structure, I predict Andrew is about to do a lot of talking and exposing of dirty laundry in public settings. I’m especially curious to see what could come out in April and August.

Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex

Now let’s move on to another Rat in the dynasty who has been living in the USA. Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex is a yang Water guy. As a Water person, you’d think he would realize it’s crazy to think he could escape all the other Water. It’s his family of origin. Harry was born in a Wood Rat year.*

In the Fire Horse year both his year and day pillars are clashed. If there is a change of location in store for him, does that mean committing to California or going back to the UK? All I’m going to say about that is he might make a lot of mistakes around the concept of loyalty. Depression is a problem for him.

Harry originally came to the west coast of the US because it promised resources, but as always, the Metal in his bazi is unreliable and so are the resources. Metal changes its nature too easily for him to be certain of what he knows, or where he stands. He was never sure of his parents role in his life.

Another way of looking at this is Harry may have been drawn to California by the Rooster – his Peach Blossom sign. He felt an irresistible attraction.

The location of the Rooster in the US is Los Angeles – the place where beauty and illusion rule, surgery and cameras make it all possible. The Rooster in Harry’s life is Meghan Markle who was born in 1981. She’s a Metal Rooster so he really didn’t stand a chance.

Given his current luck of Fire Ox that started in 2022, I’m hoping his commitment to his children is a driving force in his actions. I say this partly because people aren’t understanding why he would still be committed to Meghan Markle. There are a lot of secrets about them that might not be known until 2029.

King Charles III

I fear his father King Charles III will not be here to witness that. Prince Harry would probably tell you that’s typical of him.

King Charles III waited a very long time to assume the throne and now that he has, it must be heartbreaking to be so ill. I think his Life House of Earth Sheep speaks to this. It actually does indicate the timing of his ascent. I wonder if he would have chosen to live a different life if he knew how it would all unfold. If he had chosen love over everything, I think he would have been happier.

Charles is a yin Water guy. His chart is what Master Lily Chung might call “sibling rivalry”. There are lots of people just like him in his life, all competing for the same Earth. A challenge for him would be communication, especially in the context of his significant relationships. He hates confrontation most of all. You can see how these circumstances become obstacles to his power.

I think it’s important to consider that whatever his illness, COVID has likely been a accelerator. Charles was infected first in March of 2020 and then again in February of 2022. With his cold chart, he could have a constellation of health issues that people call Long Covid. Heat (or Fire) is risky for him though.

Unfortunately Charles is experiencing a lot of clash energy this year as he is in a Big Fate of Metal Horse and now it’s a Fire Horse year. I expect there will be big changes in his life in 2026. October could be especially challenging, maybe transformational.

I wish him peace and luck in 2026.

*Another royal who tried to escape the influence of the Rat was King Edward VIII who was born in a Horse year. He abdicated to escape the Rat. I guess he felt he was in the wrong place! He died in a Rat year.

The Waiting is Over

For the Snake, the waiting is over. You’ve showed us everything; things we never dreamed of or believed possible. The year of the Snake told us stories that were true, and many that were not. The Snake revealed things we should have already known, and maybe we did know them – for years, but we didn’t acknowledge it. Snakes made that acknowledgement impossible to avoid.

The Snake is a symbol of secrecy, withdrawal and magic; the occult. We could talk forever about all the secrets that came to light last year.

When I say the Snake was waiting, it might have been for credit or acknowledgement – a favor in return? Maybe now you’re back to enjoying the benefits of not being perceived. Staying under the radar has its delights too. There’s more time to research and study for one thing.

To get more acknowledgement requires a more public life. The Snake’s ability to hide out in plain sight means they are always an important player and maybe they don’t want everyone to know what they are doing. Maybe they feel safer being “invisible”. This is the paradox of Snake.*

Another paradox of the Snake is that they are the little Dragon, the one whose magic sometimes gets out of control. The Snake possesses the occult knowledge the Dragon craves; the Dragon will teach the Snake about wielding the magic safely, that is without harming themselves.

The Dragon, being a better communicator than the Snake sometimes steals the Snake’s fame by presenting the Snake’s work without acknowledgement. Maybe they just forgot that it wasn’t their idea? Maybe Dragons feel so much bigger than the Snake that it makes sense to them. You’ll see this in nature.

First Principles

What inspires me say all these things I just said about the sign of the Snake? Am I just making sh*t up? The answer is no.

I work with original Chinese sources for all of my divination. First principles are what I rely on: the original meanings of the Heavenly Stems and Earthly Branches, Wu Xing and yin/yang. I study Chinese characters and I can tell you that the ideograph 巳 is sometimes interpreted as a fully formed fetus. I can also tell you why people say it is a fetus at seven months of gestation.

To get more specific, I know that the Hexagram which corresponds to the year of the Wood Snake (2025) is 49 Ge – sometimes translated as molting. Sometimes it’s translated as Revolution, Skin, or Change. The lines of the hexagram describe three kinds of change, none of which regard snakes shedding their skin. The first kind of change is related to ritual animal sacrifice by skinning, i.e. painful changes resulting in death. Sound familiar? This hexagram also describes a magical changes invoked by a shaman, and political change or revolution.

Shedding Your Skin

Knowing what I know, you didn’t see me talking about Snakes or anyone else shedding their skin in 2025. That metaphor doesn’t quite work. I find it annoying when memes dilute the ancient meanings of these concepts.

As a person who works with metaphors, I think people could “shed their skin” every year because shedding your skin is a metaphor for change and renewal.

For me, to call what happened last year shedding your skin glosses over the gravitas of the events; another spiritual bypass. It’s another metaphysical McNugget for your comfort and consumption.

I’m open to talking about all of the deaths and the skinning of America. If you want to talk about the year of the Wood Snake as a year of storytelling, transformation or shape shifting? Yes. If you want to say we saw people’s true faces, that their masks came off, I’m here for it.

Now that I’ve said that, let me make the logic fuzzy. If you had skin problems in the year of the Snake, that’s pretty typical for the clash of Fire and Metal, and some people may have shed literal skin in the year of the Snake. Those problems may continue in 2026. It depends on your bazi. Welcome to my world.

This is the final Animal Fortune for 2026 and I’m feeling a little fiery about it. Can you tell?!

Small Advantages (and Disadvantages)

Snakes did gain advantages as the Tai Sui or year boss of 2025 and even though that timing has ended, you sill have some small advantages. Your attitude and approach to challenges will make a big difference. I’m not talking about positive thinking, I’m saying that you can decide to leverage your good luck through action and planning.

Slow down and be understood. Communication will be important for you Snake, just like everyone else. In your case, focus on truth and facts. Avoid making false reports that are backed by good intentions. Your year of being protected as the source of powerful tricks is over. If you stir the pot, people are going to know it was you. There will likely be consequences. Keep your information network protected. As Hannibal said to the Minnesota Shrike “they know“.**

Crime and Punishment

There are potential legal problems to solve for the Snake in the year of the Fire Horse. You’ll know what this applies to by the position of the pillar in your chart and what the Snake means to you. It’s not great news unless you’re a lawyer or an investigator and litigation is your work. Even if that’s not your job, you probably have skills in these areas, being a Snake.

Snakes have potential “breakups” with plans, contracts, relationships and family. If you are a beneficiary of a trust, make sure you understand the terms.

Educate yourself if you haven’t already done so. Know that there will be lots of changes this year. If you feel like life is too unstable Snake, I suggest you speak to others about it. You’ll find out they feel the same way. Take courage and do what you were planning to do anyway.

Snakes will find they have a big workload and yet there could be a minor loss of wealth. If you feel hopeful anyway, you’re in the flow of the year.

The Special Sauce of the Fire Horse Year

It’s going to be a quieter year, but don’t sleep on those relationships you nurtured in 2025. Most of your wealth opportunities in the year of the Fire Horse come from friends and other people you know. People want to help you, so make sure they can find you. Alternatively, go find them. If you’re not on a team, you may be lessening the magnitude of your success this year. Get advice and give it. Consider donating your expertise to a good cause.

For Snakes who are entrepreneurs, your reputation is everything. This year you can enhance it through your actions. Rely on your actions more than words in this aspect. If you’re a Snake who is an employee, you could get promoted this year. Keep your eye out for helpful Noblemen that will be around all year, certainly you can’t miss them in May.

If there really is a special sauce of the Fire Horse year, you will probably be sampling it. If you want to learn to be a cook, or want people to recognize your cooking abilities, then cook!

The Fire Horse brings you a fairly smooth path, good food and drink and a small boost of fame. Maybe that last one is what you’ve been craving most. It’s not too big, not too small. It’s just right.

Speaking of what’s just right for the Snake, is the timing Alexandria Ocasio Cortez has been waiting for here?

AOC was born in an Earth Snake year (1989) and she has the self clash of Horse. Her day pillar matches the year pillar of 2026. In a bazi matching pillars are called Fu Yin and it signifies a “crying event”. The question is whether the crying will be happy or not. I think this timing could be just right.

Alexandria is currently experiencing second Fu Yin – her Life House matches her Big Fate which runs from 2017-2027. That means it ends in 2027 which is a Fire Sheep year. It’s going to be a big deal. Her values and principles could be tested.

I wonder if the Fire Sheep could bring her more of the popularity that would help her accomplish her goals in the government.

I think AOC is conflicted about popularity, but she may have finally landed in a place where she understands the power of it, and she feels strong enough to intiate big changes. What she wants to do will entail huge personal risk. This has been a problem for her all along. I don’t think she will cave now. Her career luck is pretty good, but this year there could be tension in her marriage.

What stands out to me is that AOC really wants Metal which is her success element, however, she would prefer not to be transformed by it. I think she has had to confront that energy over and over.

What politicians get for transformation these days is wealth and I’m sure it’s tempting. Many politicians have made promises and then once they got elected they transformed, because that’s how politics work in the USA. If you want to get things done, you have to go along with whoever is at the top of the food chain. Then you can be nearer the top of the food chain too.

Unfortunately, you could still be eaten by your colleagues if they change their minds about you.

I guess we will have to see what happens when AOC gets to her next big Fate of Earth Tiger. She will be experiencing the Fire Penalty but I’m not sure that’s a negative for her. In this same timing AOC will become a dominant Fire person. She’s going to experience a ton of Fire. I will be watching to see if it’s enough put her in a position to run for President in 2028.

If you want to be in a position of power like that, it helps to have a strong self. Stay strong on the ethics too AOC!!!

The Dragon in 2026 ～ Fire Horse Year

Rinse and Repeat

Dragons have been through a big power cycle, and now it’s ending. Your natural frenemy the Dog is more favored than you this year. Shocking I know – it’s been a while since that happened. You’re not clashed this year Dragon, but expect change anyway. There will probably be more ups and downs than usual in the year of the Fire Horse. That might be good if you play basketball or you’re a professional diver. Unfortunately that doesn’t apply to most of us.

Maybe avoid trampolines this year? Dragons are riding the wheel down now, but it’s really not so bad.

Take heart. Know that if you run into problems, they can be solved and dissolved. Heaven is on your side. Now is the time for Dragons to explore new iterations. You might not like it, but the ups and downs of the year give you a small advantage. Being the big creature you are, I know you can leverage it.

“Bad” News First

More and more I’ve been making an effort to stay away from the terms “good” and “bad” when what I’m really talking about is what I want/prefer and what I don’t want/prefer. It’s all going to come regardless, so the comfort of knowing about potentials up front is that I can make a plan. I can take preventive measures and if they are successful, I’ll never know. That sounds great.

In that spirit, Dragon, let’s talk about some of the challenges you will face in the year of the Fire Horse and how you might mitigate them.

Dragons can make a preemptive strike on blockages through their ethics. Just because you might be getting a lot accolades, don’t be fooled into thinking you are infallible. Something tells me you could be accused of theft of intellectual property. Deliberately steer away from that by giving others credit where credit is due.

You do know what is right and what is wrong, but if you need help with that Dragon, summon your Secret Friend the Rooster. I think their perspective will be pretty black and white, not to mention they understand you for better or worse. The Rooster will provide a good balance to your potential arrogance. In the Fire Horse year a lack of ethics and good judgment could attract legal troubles.

Dragons who are looking for a framework to support their morals and values could find a lifelong solution in seeking a spiritual path this year.

There may be some losses of wealth, accidents or injuries. Slow down and your luck will be better. Get strategic advice from the Rat whose native element is Water.

Sweet Relief

Dragons will find relief this year, mostly by way of seeking Water. In these fiery times you’ll find that being on a team is quite beneficial. A team might be your family and/or it might have to do with work. It might not be easy to find the perfect team this year, but if you have one, cherish it. Let it replenish you. When you team up, Water will naturally be produced.

Seek Water because it’s very likely you’re going to get too hot, both literally and metaphorically. When that happens, access Water by way of communication. Sharpen your communication skills. That doesn’t necessarily mean talking more. Instead, focus on the act of communicating. Say what’s important and leave it at that unless asked. Listen. Pay attention to whether people are listening to you. If they’re not, why not? Communication is an energetic exchange, maybe you need to change your currency sometimes. Don’t insist on people adopting yours.

Fans and Flames

If you have more fans, you get more flames. Dragons can become more well known in the year of the Fire Horse.

In the year of the Fire Horse Dragons are going to want to show off and this is part of the problem because that activity is also related to Fire. Because you do have things to crow about, keep your display subtle and casual. Seeking Water will help with this too.

Dragons will probably have a lot of fans, and certainly a lot of resources. Some Dragons recently published books, knowing they could become more popular in the Fire Horse year. It will be easier than usual for you to increase your connections and fame. Being around so much Fire means you’re meeting and running with the “right” people for career advancement. Fire is your resource element.

In a bazi, resource is the element that births you. It’s your training, your health, your parents, and ideas. During the first half of the year, keep track of your wild ideas. This is a special kind of creativity that you can explore this year.

The Dragon is yang Earth and Fire is what creates Earth. Here’s a funny thing about that: I don’t think Dragons really need Fire except for health and creativity. Even so, too much Fire can be a problem. Like the Dog, the Dragon doesn’t want to get too hot or dry; a dried up Dragon is in trouble. That isn’t something Dragons usually have to worry about but in this particular timing…stay hydrated. Seek Water.

The Influence of Water

You have probably noticed by now that I keep telling you to seek Water Dragon. Water is the element you store up and the element that is crucial to your magical powers. In this year of the Fire Horse, the conflict of Fire and Water is where the action is. If you want to be there too, you can! The magnitude of the increase of your fame in 2026 will depend on your capacity, however, the energy of the year supports your influence. People may look to you as as an expert on beauty or admire your good taste. In modern times, this is influencer energy.

Erika Kirk

A current influencer born in the year of the Earth Dragon whose fame (infamy?) will continue to increase in the year of the Fire Horse is Erika Kirk. She has been in a 10 Year Luck period of Earth Sheep since 2022. The Earth Sheep pillar matches the current 10 Year Luck of the United States, also the day pillar of Donald Trump.

I’ve estimated the hour for Erika’s time of birth. My estimate of the hour may or may not be correct but…maybe some day I’ll find out.

Living in the Void

The Rooster is Void for her. If her relationship with by her children is distant, I could be right. Erika doesn’t strike me as a hands on parent. I think she has other priorities. Getting power is a top priority, or getting power from men perhaps.

You’ll see a Rooster in Erika’s Life House too, which I find very fitting, however, that calculation will depend on getting the hour correct and I could be wrong. Supporting evidence that I am right would be Erica’s career in beauty pageants as a big part of her self clash. Some of her outfits are kind of telling too – especially the things she wore for mourning. She’s all about output or “talent”, appearance and at the same time these things are empty for her. She must be very frustrated.

All of that is speculation for now. What stood out first in her bazi is that her husband is in a vulnerable position – any husband. With her spouse palace of Rabbit, she has the Tao Hua or Peach Blossom star in the year of the Fire Horse, indicating a possible new romantic relationship. Given her current Fate, maybe it will be someone from her workplace? I’ll be watching for signs, especially in April and November when she has a self clash.

After all, it was very near the beginning of the Pig month in 2025 when she gave JD Vance a special hug at a TPUSA event. Just saying.

The Rabbit in 2026 ～ Fire Horse Year

Good Luck!

In the year of the Fire Horse, Rabbits are pretty lucky. That luck will continue into the year of the Fire Sheep. Being lucky doesn’t mean you have no problems at all, and even though you’re riding the wheel down Rabbit, the next two years could bring a lot of things you’ve been looking for and waiting for. If you want the luck, it’s action time. Things are going to move very quickly in the year of the Fire Horse. If you want to keep up, you’re going to need to rest. Work on your sleep habits to magnify your good luck.

Maybe you already know that the Rabbit’s time is early morning. The Rabbit hour is 5-7 am. The element of Wood is the first to begin the day. When Wood is coming, the Sun can’t be far behind. The Sun brings the Fire.

Because the Rabbit and Tiger carry the energy of Wood, which precedes Fire in the creative cycle of elements, the Rabbit and Tiger both have what I call “waking up” energy. The Wood is waking up the Fire. When the sky lights up, we wake – at least that’s how it’s meant to be when you’re healthy. Imbalances can interfere with health.

Excess Wood or Fire can translate into periods of insomnia for Tiger and Rabbit. I’m afraid that may be an issue this year. Waking up too early? Having trouble with your sleep patterns? Your bedroom could be a contributing factor.

Bed Rules

If sleep is not going well, make the yin/yang balance of your bedroom a priority. Here are some important things to consider:

Do you let the qi come into your bedroom in the daytime by opening the curtains and door? Is your bedroom yin enough at night? What I mean is, is it dark and quiet? Would adding heavy curtains help?

Don’t let your bedroom be too hot, or too cold. Some people say they have health issues when they are exposed to air conditioning and they may be right. From a Chinese medicine perspective, if you have air or cold air blowing on you while you’re sleeping, you may be setting yourself up for chronic health concerns related to Wind or the Wood element. If you go to bed with wet hair and a fan blowing on you – don’t?

Little Bunny Fou Fou

Although I’ve studied and read bazi for many years, I never understood that the Rabbit could be violent when pushed too far until the Water Rabbit year that was 2023.

The set up of the Water Rabbit pillar is similar to the set up of the Ingratitude Penalty which involves the relationship of Water and Wood, and power inequities. Sometimes it invokes generational conflict. We went through many Water years, from 2019-2024 Rabbits were inundated. Even though it may have brought some good things, an extended experience of any element can have a big impact. It can wear a bunny down. Now it’s time for the Rabbit to dry off and show off.

Guess what? It turns out you’re not crazy, you just needed a moment.

Maybe even moreso than in your own year of the Rabbit, you are a boss this year. You stand behind the Horse as the one who does the work of governing. You probably see this as a service or a privilege. You are capable of enacting changes in a way that a figurehead is not.

Money and other forms of Wealth

Quite a few masters are saying that the Rabbit will be one of the luckiest signs in the year of the Fire Horse because the Rabbit has Fortune Virtue and plenty of work opportunities. I don’t disagree – people do want money. Since most of us are not trillionaires, getting more money would be a big deal. It is good luck. Just don’t forget that when you have wealth stars, that’s probably going to involve more than money. You might want to spend your luck on the kind of wealth that lasts longer than money.

Some Rabbits will have luck with property and real estate. That could mean getting some, but you might also work with people in those businesses. You’re a natural networker who will receive more invitations than usual to meet up. You will probably find yourself in the same crowd in the Fire Sheep year as you do in this Fire Horse year. Knowing that, how might you shape your actions other than networking?

The Rabbit has no illness stars this year and a higher than usual potential for fame. Keep working on your health, as Rabbits are wont to do. Don’t let the fun and parties wear you out.

The Power of Peach Blossom

People are drawn to you this year Rabbit, especially the Horse who usually feels a sharp need for your energy. For example, a Rabbit might be an athlete’s personal trainer. The Horse (and others) will feel and express that you help them to move forward and regulate their energy expenditure. Rabbits will like this kind of praise, and why not? Just don’t get carried away with being “adored”. To wield your Peach Blossom energy – put your self and your safety first. Don’t start from the principle that you will inevitably be compromised or hurt. That’s not necessary for your success. I’m serious Rabbit.

An Ounce of Prevention

Go into the year with plans for boundaries and limits. Know that it will be best to change them as you go. Keep your flexibility. Set your goal beyond survival this year. With the Horse present, the Rabbit may be too quick to give their all and then withdraw due to having badly depleted themselves. That withdrawal may not be voluntary.

As much as you can, prevent and solve problems through your actions. Being passive, or sitting on the sideline means you are not grabbing onto the opportunities that are available. Take action in whatever capacity you can. Your reach may go beyond your physical capabilities.
