Bazi Classes for May 2026

I’m offering two bazi classes in May for those who are familiar with the basics and are ready to go a step further. In both classes we will talk about the “rules” as well as what it might be like to experience these concepts in real life.

Penalty, Punishment, Harm and Destruction – Saturday May 16th 9-11 am PDT (Seattle time)

In assessing a person’s life situation, these are important concepts to address. Sometimes the elemental dynamics turn out to be supportive and welcome in some way.

Twelve Life Stages – Saturday May 30th 9-11 am PDT (Seattle time)

As is the case with humans, every element has Life Stages that follow a cycle. We can interpret the timing of elements as they relate to the course of a life, which elements are most vibrant in a chart and which are not.

Monthly Meetup – Snake in the Grass

Chinese Astrology Monthly Meetup

It looks like the Water Dragon month (most of April) is going to be a dynamic month…and that’s why you would want to join us for the Monthly Meetup on Saturday April 4th. That’s one day before we begin the month of the Water Dragon. This clash of Water and Fire could be very dramatic and… interesting.

When your Chinese Astrologer says “interesting”, they might be using it in the sense I have heard my Chinese teachers say it. What do I mean? If they like you, they wouldn’t wish you an interesting year.

Seemingly without regard to our human intentions and wishes, Fate goes on. Seemingly.

What will we talk about? The Guide is the usual jumping off point for discussion. For the Water Dragon month possible topics include: the monthly hexagram, bazi of Benjamin Netanyahu, 魁罡 Kui Gang Pillars, proprioception, risk takers and deep rollers, graveyards, storages, the 浮沉 Instability star, who is lucky and who is challenged…

Whatever you’re working on, there’s a theme that keeps coming up that I want to share with you. I think we might all be tempted to stop our work early in the Dragon month. I’d think twice about that if I were you. By work I mean the personal, not necessarily your job.

Chinese Astrology Classes for 2026

In the spirit of the Fire Horse Year, I’m offering all of the classes I teach as group classes. It’s a lofty goal I know. If you’ve been waiting for one of my twenty classes to be offered for group study, this is your year.

For 2026, one on one classes will be available as always, now at a slightly reduced rate. In addition, there are two free group classes bookending the year as part of my service in the ongoing revolution.

In case you’re new here, I mostly teach Chinese Astrology, aka bazi.

I invite those who have already studied with me to repeat a class you have taken before for free when the group class is being offered. Just email me if that’s you!

All the class dates and other information are available on my Study page or you can follow one of the links below to find out more about a specific class. I’m offering them as a progression.

The first class, Explore Roots, Stems and Branches of Bazi is an intro level class, the Wu Xing classes will build off of that knowledge. The Hidden Stems class extends what you learned in the Wu Xing classes and so on. The Intermediate level classes begin with Relationships and Compatibility, but if you already have some experience/knowledge you could probably jump in wherever you like!

Group Class offering for September 2025
